Amount
of CE: Two (2) hours (includes the one (1)
hour of ethics required for occupational therapy practitioners
and athletic trainers). Attendees must attend both sessions
to qualify for CE credit. Verification of attendance will
be mailed to participants. Physical therapy practitioners
do not need to obtain an Ohio Approval Number for this
CE activity.
Seminar
Content: A general overview of the agency's role and
functions. Following the completion of this general information
session, individuals will be directed to individual breakout
sessions depending on his/her area of licensure. Breakout
sessions will address specific areas of concern, trends
in violations/discipline, recent law/rule changes, a group
ethical exercise and frequently asked questions. Breakout
sessions will conclude with a post test.
Powerpoint
slides are available on the board's website the first
week of April 2009. Copies will NOT be provided at the
seminar.
